Re: “Clark rankles schools on ‘low-hanging fruit,’” Feb. 26.
Why would Premier Christy Clark ask school boards to cut millions in administrative costs and not municipalities?
Greater Victoria voters want greater efficiencies and cost-savings through their municipalities combining services such as engineering, fire protection and police. Just look at the lunacy of different road design in Victoria West, Esquimalt and View Royal.
The premier has the power to legislate a different approach to municipal government.
